The ancestral home of the Nardi family is Marcianise, Italy.

Marcianise belongs to the province of Caserta and is 30 miles north of Naples and 5 miles south of Caserta, the primary town of the province.

The town currently has a population of almost 40,000 people (called Marcianisani) and is only 120 feet above sea level. Marcianise has traditionally been a farming and agricultural economy because it is at the center of the fertile plain of “Terra di Lavoro” Interestingly, it’s patron saint is St. Michael, the same as Monte S’Angelo.
