The Minucci Family has it's roots in Naples region of Italy (on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius)   During the start of the 20th century, members of the Minucci family came to the United States looking for work.  Eventually several members of that family settled in Port Reading, New Jersey.

Once in New Jersey the family found work and grew steadily.  There is a single family member that settled in New Jersey:

• Fiore Minucci and his wife Maria Sellito Minucci - who settled in Port Reading, New Jersey
