The Ceppo Family has it's roots in the town of ??? on the island of Sicily in Italy   During the start of the 20th century, members of the Ceppo family emigrated to the United States looking for work .  The family settled in  Brooklyn, New York.

Although it may appear that this family is unrelated to the Ragucci family, there are multiple links between this family and the Lombardo family that are worth exploring.

Once in New York the family found work and grew steadily.  There are two members of this family that settled in New York:

• Luigi Ceppo and his sister Rosalie Ceppo Rizzo - who settled in Brooklyn, New York
